    I ran Linux Mint 8 and Ubuntu 9.10 on a Dell P-III 866 mhz processor and 512 meg ram. It was a little slow, and video seemed a little choppy.
    1 ghz processor and 1 gig of ram will do fine.

    Also, don’t use Wubi. It’s full of problems. Dual-boot instead.
