Is there anything like the Wubi Ubuntu Installer for LinuxMINT?

I like the plan of dual booting, although not really impressed with Ubuntu.
Any tips on how to complete it with LinuxMINT 5.0?

If you want to dual boot, just install mint, and when you get to the partitioning section, just adjust the sizes of the partitions to what you want. Half windows, half linux, or whatever.

If you want Mint running inside windows, like WUBI, you would probably need to use VMware

Well, I don’t find a windows installer for LinuxMINT, and as far as I can tell, they aren’t planning on it. http://www.linuxmint.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=867
You can encourage the LinuxMINT developers to make a windows installer. They can use Wubi.

Or, If you don’t need 3d in Linux, use vbox http://www.virtualbox.org/ to run LinuxMINT inside windows. or do it the other way around:

Unfortunately not at present. Thats my major hang up with the Wubi installer that you are restricted to Ubuntu.

There is one possible workaround but I am not certain it will work.

Install Ubuntu 8.04.1 using Wubi http://wubi-installer.org/ then add the Linux Mint 5.0 repositories.

Now I am not certain this will work, but its possible. Besides if you are doing it on a Wubi installation of Ubuntu it won’t matter if it all goes pear shaped.

Let me know how it goes.
