How to show trash on usb devices in Ubuntu?

I deleted an important document on my usb tool also it got sent to the trash folder, I desire to get the document back but I never understand how to access that folder. Anyone know how?

pull out the flash drive and plug it into a different Linux based or Windows baised system if it’s still there (which it should be) back it up and u r fine but if not ur kinda fuked

Down the bottom right hand corner of the screen there should be a trash bin. Click on it and it will show the deleted files. You should then be able to
1) right click and choose “restore”
2) copy the file back to the thumb drive
If it is not in the trash, go to the thumb drive and from the ‘View’ menu choose “Show Hidden files”. Then look for a file names “.Trash” (Note: there is a dot at the start). You file may be somewhere in that folder
