How can i mount my USB drive in my linux (ubuntu)?

i keep wanting to mount my usb gain at my ubuntu, but it keeps telling me that it cant mount it….and when i checked my removable drives and media, it didnt have got a tab for mounting it or altering any setting..please help??

u must added to group of disk, usb, hal, users, and cdrom in kuser or makeit on konsole:
usermod -G disk users cdrom hal udev usb
where is u login name ok..
thas all.. u must use a real linux perfect solution like debian http://www.debian.org
