Well, this is my first linux install, and my wireless network card doesn’t seem to be recognized. How can I fix this? Any info is appreciated.

Thanks

Can be complicated – (took me a day or two) if your not used to Ubuntu..but once you start learning where everything is..you’ll be fine..

OK..make sure you have the software for your wifi card. this will show up in restricted drivers..once downloded (you need to connect to the internet with a cable to get the driver) . Go into restricted drivers and enable it. You probably have to reboot..
Go into network click on the wifi icon..and input your wpa password..and save etc..

If this doesn’t work download wifi radar and play about with it, together with Network settings…

The set I have I have to re input the wpa password ever time I want to use wifi…which I copy and paste from wifi radar as network doesn’t seem to remember it.
